Crisis services on the chart that follows the person

Crisis alerts from intake screening, mobile crisis visits, risk screening and safety plans, on the chart the person carries into their next program.

Asked every week on a crisis team

  1. Which crisis alerts are still waiting for triage?

Crisis alerts raised from intake screening answers are triaged in a tiered queue.

What a crisis handoff looks like across separate systems

  • A crisis contact is logged in one system, and the follow-up program starts a new chart in another.
  • The risk screening and safety plan sit apart from the record the next program opens.
  • When someone moves into a bed, staff type in again what the crisis team already learned.

Before you choose

What happens when someone needs an inpatient or residential bed?

One bed board covers recovery residences, residential treatment facilities and inpatient units. The ASAM level-of-care assessment and its history stay on the same chart, so the receiving program sees why the person was placed there.

Can Encore OS bill crisis stabilization?

On the roadmap: crisis stabilization episodes with crisis-specific billing. Today, claims are checked against payer edit rules before submission.
