Encore OS is live in production. Walkthroughs use sample data, not patient records.

Keep the visit connected, from schedule to bill

The appointment, note, charge, and claim describe the same visit. Staff can follow that work as it moves between teams.

A visit, from schedule to bill

Schedule the visit, document the care, record charges, then bill. Billing is blocked if the visit has not been documented, and the attempted action is recorded.

  1. Schedule

    Start with the appointment.

  2. Document

Keep the care note with the visit.

  3. Record charges

Build charges from that same visit.

  4. Bill

Carry the visit through to the claim.

Documentation comes before billing

If someone tries to bill an undocumented visit, Encore OS blocks the action and records the attempt in its activity history.

Safeguards for the work that matters

Practical controls for sensitive information, local requirements, and clinical decisions.

Protect sensitive records

HIPAA sets standards for protecting health information, and substance-use records need special care under 42 CFR Part 2. Access checks limit how protected information is used in reports, and information copied from a protected record keeps its protection.

Encore OS is designed toward HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 safeguards, and Part 2 consent is captured with redisclosure tracking.

Account for state requirements

Billing requirements vary by state. Arizona (AHCCCS) rules run as a jurisdiction profile today, so a rule changes in one place rather than in custom code.

On the roadmap: jurisdiction profiles for more states.

Keep clinicians in control

AI-drafted progress notes need clinician review and attestation before signing. Drafting runs only after the organization publishes information about the AI model, and a patient can opt out.

Built by people who ran the programs

Encore OS’s co-founders came to software from running clinical programs, recovery housing and the operations behind them. They built the system they wanted on the floor: one encounter, one ledger, one record of what happened.
